FAQ

How much is the rental per week?

The weekly rental depends on the value of the vehicle and the term of the agreement, however, the average rental per week is around $50 (excluding GST.) with the lowest rental being $30 and highest $75 per week.

What is the repayment and how much is it?

The repayment is the amount you are paying towards the purchase of the vehicle, for example, if we sold you a vehicle for $10,000, the repayment would be $62.10 (excluding GST) per week. If we finance a vehicle for you then your repayment would be as per the finance agreement.

How does the maintenance plan work?

The maintenance plan is included in your weekly instalment and is intended to cover the expenses related to the regular maintenance services (every 10,000 kms) and the replacement of tyres when required. Depending on the average cost to maintain the vehicle and of course the age, we bill you between $0.15 and $0.25 per kilometre travelled on a weekly basis. The majority of our vehicles are being billed at $0.15 per kilometre.

Please explain the Rego and Insurance charges?

To legally drive a car in Western Australia you are required by law to maintain an active registration (Rego). The cost of a Rego is calculated based on the weight of the vehicle and billed every 3 months. To make things easier for you, pay the Rego upfront and bill you weekly so that you are not surprised with large costs. The average amount we bill per week for a Rego is $24 (excluding GST).

In addition to the Rego cost that only includes Compulsory Third Party insurance, we request that our customers also have Comprehensive Motor Insurance. While CTP covers the damage to other peoples property caused by you, it does not cover the damage to your vehicle. This is where comprehensive insurance comes in and why it is mandatory for our customers to be covered.

How is my mileage tracked?

On a weekly basis, you will receive a reminder from us requesting a photograph of your odometer reading. This reading is recorded in our system and used to calculate the distance you have travelled over the past week and the amount you should be billed for your maintenance plan.

What happens if I do not submit the odometer reading on time for invoicing?

If you do not submit your odometer reading on time for billing, we bill you based on your average weekly travel. It is important to note that once your invoice has been issued, we cannot reverse the invoicing. In the following week, assuming you submit the reading on time, you will notice the amount billed will balance out over the two weeks.
